Powerful war-time drama was nominated for 11 Oscars, and won seven, including Best Picture, Director and Script. Co-stars Walter Pigeon ("How Green Was My Valley"), Dame May Whitty ("Gaslight"), and Henry Travers ("It's a Wonderful Life") all received Oscar-nominations. There is nothing like a good black & white classic movie to curl on a sofa to watch, on a lazy Sunday and this one is an all time favorite!

Love Walter Pidgeon in anything he's in and he's especially great as the father in this movie. The ending scene is tremendous!
