An artistically presented period piece with beautiful sets and landscapes, authentic hair, makeup and costumes. Realistic fight and action sequences ~ few wires and magic for our Thai and sole Japanese Muay Boron warriors. There are seferal longer contemplative scenes, so may be slow for some viewers.

The plot and movie itself is way to long to develop the actual story line. I tried watching this 3 times but repeatedly fell asleep. To much going on to give clear understanding of what the movie is really about. Hey check it out for yourself is all I will say but not worth it.

I first saw this film on loan from my brother's sensi. All I did was watch it six times in 24hrs and my brother had to return it. It's my favorite martial arts movie,( sorry Bruce and Lone Wolf and Cub).
