From a feisty reporter to a patriotic corporate man; from a retiring policeman to a rookie cop, from all an unemployed youth to a coffee-vendor. Mumbai Meri Jaan follows the lives of people from all strata of Mumbai's bustling society as they tackle the after-effects of a fatal incident that brings out the best and sometimes worst in them. It's a story of ordinary people set in one extraordinary circumstance- that one event on the evening of July 11, 2006- which forms the crux of Mumbai Meri Jaan.
