Zu is newly sober and finding her way in the world when she receives news that she is to become the sole guardian of her half-sister named Music, a young girl on the autism spectrum. The film explores two of Sia's favorite themes --finding your voice and what it means to create family.

The movie explains some serious features in my personal autism, e.g. snap shots, eye contact avoidance, colorful delightful movies in the brain. It also explains how the society sees autism, e.g. silly but not smart, and the reality is the opposite. It also shows serious characteristics in my autism, e.g. walking on my fingers, attached to certain cloth and style, and never change it, and can be easily traumatized. Sia, however, make the person herself to truly looks silly which is untrue.

This movie uses methods that are dehumanizing and literally deadly to autistic people. It's horribly ableist and completely ignorant. I would give 0 stars if I could. A lot of stereotyping, dehumanizing, and a lot of ableism.

literally just ableism made into a terrible movie. ive only seen bits of the movie and as an autistic person i couldnt even finish or get through it. has certain things that seem racist in nature as well, just an overall terrible movie
