The film portrays Zamindar`s love for Rajanigandha and his desire to marry her but soon he realizes Rajanigandha`s love for Muthu who works for Zamindar. Soon the Zamindar is murdered and the blame is shifted to Muthu. The rest is how does Muthu find the real killer and whether he unites with Rajanigandha.
