The family you love is back! Written by Academy Award nominee Nia Vardalos, the story jumps forward 10 years. Toula (Nia Vardalos) and Ian (John Corbett) have been married a long time and their relationship has lost some of its spark. Like most mothers, Toula is at odds with her 17-year-old daughter, Paris, and trying to find time for herself and husband. Just like Toula is to her parents, Paris is everything to Toula and Ian. But Paris is not content to be relegated to everyone’s thoughts of what constitutes a good Greek girl. Loved the first film, but this was cringe-worthy. In the first we got to laugh at all the eccentricities of being (or marrying into) a Greek family, but here, every scenario was unbelievable and every character a one-dimensional caricature. And the script was awful!

I'm pretty sure all the positive reviews are from Greek people who are blissfully unaware how racist and stereotypical this movie really is, - just as the first movie was but MORE so. Unfortunately I can't get a refund but you can save your money.

Great second movie. Some good laugh out loud moments. Great for a rainy day in!
