Rachel Ashley (Olivia De Havilland) is the widow of a wealthy Cornish man who has died under mysterious circumstances. The dead man's cousin, Philip Ashley (Richard Burton), arrives to investigate his relative's untimely parting and quickly begins to suspect the widow. What complicates matters is the fact that he seems to be falling in love with her. A cliff-side confrontation leads to a fatal fall for Rachel, and it would seem that justice has somehow been served... until Philip discovers some unlikely evidence that points to her innocence.

Ratings and reviews

I hope the actors were not as bored making the movie as I was watching it. Too much loud music these days combined with mumbling actors.

Very entertaining film, my only issue is I expect a fully restored pin sharp HD version if I'm paying full amount in 2020
