Becca and Adam Smith along with their 5-year-old daughter Acie are a perfect family until a tragic accident during a 4th of July celebration kills Adam. Struggling with the grieving process, Becca decides she needs to step away from the family farm and all its reminders of the life she lost. She leaves Acie with her grandfather Rick and visits with her old friend from school, June. With all the best intentions, June offers Becca plenty of distraction from her shattered family life. Fueled by her anger at God and loss of faith, Becca starts drinking heavily and making other self-destructive choices. Then, after Becca is arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct, Rick threatens to keep Acie until Becca sets herself right. A chance encounter in a bus station with a guitar-toting traveler gives Becca the inspiration she needs to reignite her faith and reunite her family.

I am in the first 30 - 40 minutes of this movie and I have to turn it off. I can't tell if it is the script, or the horrible acting ( aside from Corbin Benson who can't save this movie as hard as he tries)...don't waste good money renting or buying this film. If you must see it...try Netflix or your local library.

I enjoyed the movie. The mother was full of grief and pain and she turned to other things other than God. I lost my husband when my children were small and this rung true. I love the acting out of grief and doubt in God. God never left her and He did beautiful things with this family. He does heal, He knows this deep pain ....

I watched this movie from beginning to end I loved it and it makes sense in the hardship that we go through sometimes we lose faith but then we have to remember that if we have faith in ourselves as in God things will get better God has a plan don't know what it is but I'm excited to find out
