MY NAME IS KHAN is the triumphant story of an unconventional hero and the obstacles he must overcome to regain the love of his life. Rizvan Khan, a Muslim man who has Aspergers Syndrome, moves to San Francisco and falls in love with the beautiful Mandira. They marry and have a happy life; until September 11, 2001, when attitudes towards Muslims undergo an alarming change. After a series of tragic events leaves her devastated, Mandira splits from Rizvan, leaving him alone once again. To win her back, Rizvan embarks on a touching and inspiring journey across America to clear his name and prove his love to the woman who has captured his heart. This film contains English, Hindi and Urdu dialects.

"My Name is Khan and I am not terrorist!" A solid and a very piece of dialogue. Khan suffers from aspergers syndrome and is very clever. But then his mother dies and he moves to the US to live with his brother. Here he meets an Hindu woman and falls in love with her and the two get married. This is a movie that will touch your heart and will have you in tears as well. Superb acting by both Shahrukh Khan and Kajol as well as all the other cast. Well worth a watch.

Seriously not sure why this didn't get into Oscars list. SRK truly demonstrated how much he has developed and honed his talent over the years. I'm not even Asian and literally find myself scrambling for any SRK movies now. He is a true icon and should have a far wider platform than he does . Special breed of actor
