This movie is embued with charm by its setting and impressive (as expected) performances and crisply made. No scene feels unneeded or that it lasts longer than necessary. You don't know where it's going at first, but then it takes a sharp, sharp turn. There's the conflict — and the trailer doesn't give it away at all. If you are looking for lighthearted fare, this isn't the movie for you (or perhaps it's just not the movie for this evening). But if you want something that makes you think and that makes you feel, this movie is just about ideal.
