There are a few minor aspects of the film that rely on an understanding of Korean culture and folklore to work, likely to be at least partially lost upon foreigners, and neither the production values nor the story are first class, but the film still succeeds as a quirky romance with an unconventional twist that will bring a tear to your eyes, assuming you're not the sort to roll them.

A good old Korean rom-com with an opinionated girlfriend and a guy just trying to make sense of what is going on. Well balanced humor and drama keep the pace until a very well written final act. At this point you are drawn in and the writer knows it. Follow the rabbit hole, that is all I can say.

One of the best Korean romance and comedy films to date. It is a classic in the Korean culture. Makes you laugh, mad, sad, happy. The film brings in all these emotions. Definitely worth the watch in my opinion!
