Death on the Nile is one of my favorite books and so is the 1978 film version. I am a fan of Kenneth Branagh and I wanted to like this movie but I couldn't. The changes to the story and characters were unnecessary and silly. I felt for Mia Farrow's Jacqueline, casted off by the man she loved. The Jacqueline in this movie came off like a spoiled brat throwing a temper tantrum. I didn't care for her I wanted to send her to her room. Very disappointed.

It’s hard to believe this film is a sequel to Murder on the Orient Express. That movie was really good, and this one just…isn’t. There’s no way for the audience to piece together the mystery; instead, half of the final revelation consists of things that never happened on-screen. Most if not all characters are underdeveloped and honestly really unlikeable. A mess of dumb decisions, this movie has trouble keeping suspense, because everything felt so dull that it’s impossible to be invested.

Took an hour for someone to die! Super gross horny movie! They were practically doing the nasty with clothes on at least 3 or 4 times. The detective accused every single person of the murder probably hoping someone would just confess. Randomly circling around each other while talking which was weird. Also they gave a backstory for a damn mustache that supposedly covered a scar that was not there and wouldn’t have even covered it. The only parts my friend and I liked was seeing the crocodile and fish!
