노련한 뮤지션인 잭슨 메인(브래들리 쿠퍼)은 힘겹게 살아가는 아티스트인 앨 리(레이디 가가)를 발견하고 그녀와 사랑에 빠집니다. 가수로서 자신의 꿈을 포기하려고 하자 잭슨은 그녀를 무대 위로 끌어올립니다. 하지만 앨리가 가 수로서의 경력을 시작하려고 할 때 잭슨은 자신 내부의 악마와 끊임없는 사투 를 벌이면서 이들의 연인 관계가 무너지기 시작합니다.

평가 및 리뷰

*trigger warning*It made feel sad but I had to force my tears out because it reminded me of past experiences. I have been controlled most of my life and emotionally abused. Phoenix is like the sun and love him.

Been to see the 8 times in the cinema when it came out. I balled my eyes out like I have never done before. One of my all time favourites. And the singing is just incredible.

Amazing film, so heartwarming and emotional. Takes alot for me to get even slightly emotional but this did, especially at the end when he took his belt into a room and didn't come back out.
