One of the most interesting historical characters ever reduced to a boring, overlong picture where even the great actors can’t hide their indifference. It’s hard to think how this biopic could be worse. Don’t waste your time as the silent French classic film of the 1920s is far superior. It’s taken 100 years for the Director to do an even worse job.
