After his entire family is killed, Narasimha (Sunny Deol) spirals into drunkenness and criminal behavior, finally becoming a hired killer for the city's most feared criminal boss, Baapji (Om Puri). Baapji controls Narasimha's actions by exploiting his alcoholism, until he orders the death of Ravi Rastogi (Ravi Behl) for romancing Baapji's daughter, Meenu (Urmila Matondkar). Narasimha rebels and enters a pact with Ravi and his sister, Anita (Dimple Kapadia), to bring Baapji down.
