經驗豐富的音樂家傑克遜•梅恩（布萊德利•庫珀）發現並愛上了苦苦掙扎的藝術家艾麗 (Lady Gaga)。她幾乎就要放棄她的歌手夢——直到傑克將她說服來到鎂光燈下。但在艾麗事業騰飛的同時，他們之間的個人關係正在土崩瓦解，因為傑克正與自己內心的惡魔進行著一場持續不斷的鬥爭。

*trigger warning*It made feel sad but I had to force my tears out because it reminded me of past experiences. I have been controlled most of my life and emotionally abused. Phoenix is like the sun and love him.

Been to see the 8 times in the cinema when it came out. I balled my eyes out like I have never done before. One of my all time favourites. And the singing is just incredible.

Amazing film, so heartwarming and emotional. Takes alot for me to get even slightly emotional but this did, especially at the end when he took his belt into a room and didn't come back out.
