At the Nuremberg Trials, 18-year-old Nathan Hilu, a Jewish US Army private, guards top Nazi war criminals and witnesses their crimes. Instructed by Albert Speer to document everything he sees, Hilu becomes obsessed and spends the next 70 years animating his memories. Filmmaker Elan Golod explores Hilu's artistic journey, questioning the truth in his stories and delving into the power of art as both archive and invention.
