Jake (Sean Faris) is the new kid in school. When a beautiful girl (Amber Heard) befriends him, Jake thinks he's set. But instead, her fight-club boyfriend, Ryan (Cam Gigandet), smacks Jake a bloody, black-eyed welcome. Humiliated, Jake then turns to a mixed martial arts (MMA) master (Djimon Hounsou), who teaches him how to fight...and how to walk away. But it becomes obvious that a brutal re-match is inevitable if Jake wants to stop Ryan and his bullying, once and for all.

This movie is so bad it's good. My favorite part is where the bad guy beats up the good guy's little Dustin from Stranger Things lookin' friend so badly he hospitalizes him. But then after the good guy wins the fight with the bad guy at the end, they're all friends. This movie is so unbelievably terrible... I gotta watch it every year. Five stars, would recommend.

if you're looking for story then don't bother with this film. that being said, if you are looking for a movie that is just a good ol' fashioned brawl film then this is your movie. that party scene...priceless, and the parking lot scene at the end is so-so. over all its worth a watch every so often or if you just wanted to feel pumped!

Thus quite literally is a movie for teenagers. How any adult coukd take this seriously is beyond me. I saw it with my 15yr old cousins and they were into it. Me i justvsat there and was waiting for some action that made sense. Bad acting, bad story.
