Inspired by real events and spanning three eras of German history, NEVER LOOK AWAY tells the story of young art student, Kurt (Tom Schilling), who falls in love with classmate, Ellie (Paula Beer). Ellie’s father and famous doctor, Professor Seeband (Sebastian Koch), is dismayed at his daughter’s choice of boyfriend, and vows to destroy the relationship. What neither Kurt nor Ellie know is that their lives are already connected through a terrible crime Seeband committed decades ago.

a visually stunning and emotionally raw story on the need to find beauty in tragedy and pain. full heart break pain laugh and love full of the best cinematography of 2018 and powerful and fun performances. a movie I will never watch again but one I'm gonna want to watch a million times

I could not stop watching. A highly humanistic movie of the destructive, inhumanity of extremism. Life’s are torn and destroyed. The turnout shows redemption and hope Love prevails.

Powerful, beautiful and surreal. I did not want it to end.
