Amazing film​. Lionel Dobie is Nick Nolte's greatest role IMO. The other stories in this film are okay but 'Life Lessons' is head and shoulders above the rest. Scorsese's kinetic style, along with his use of popular music from sources as diverse as Procol Harum to Ray Charles give it an energy that I've rarely seen in films about artists. An absolute must see.
