"One of the 20 Scariest Movies of All Time" (Entertainment Weekly), George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead still sets the standard for all indie fright flicks. This 40th Anniversary Edition, authorized by the director himself, reanimates the landmark tale of five strangers who struggle desperately against hordes of the walking undead. Re-mastered and loaded with all-new Special Features, Night of the Living Dead remains "a bona fide classic..still very scary after all these years" (Jason Jones, Classic-Horror.com)

Some films along with being superb examples of their genre are great because, the finished product shows what the art of film making can accomplish regardless of budget with, talent, creativity, and, above all heart. 'Film Magic', Fate or, Professionalism. Call, it what you may that makes this film a cinematic legend. There's, a reason that filmgoers in the 21st Century still fear 'The Night of the Living Dead' not only for it's entertainment value but also, the impression it leaves on you.

IT'S THE CLASSIC OF ALL TIME. Sir Romero caught the ball and ran with it for a Steelers touchdown. He slipped the world a virus and lived to see it dominate. RIP SIR GEORGE and thank-you... The greatest gift ever. Oh,and it is public domain how dare you charge for it.

The thumbnail is the "offical" DVD release from... 2008, I believe? It was Romero and Russo's way of trying to get some legit money back on their timeless masterpiece. It had a fantastic feature length documentary called, "Another one for the fire." And a running film commentary by Romero (RIP) and a few of the (then) surviving cast members. Fantastic commentary, filled with joy and so many wonderful anecdotes. I highly recommend finding a hard copy dvd and have it on the shelf💯
