Gyllenhaal is fantastic, like a young Steve Buscemi or Robert De Niro. Great use of light and colour in the mostly night scenes. Great story. Although there is a social message of ethics in modern TV journalism it is underplayed.

After watch this movie, you will start think about "success" and what kind of success people can get or can do. 扭曲的價值觀、錯誤並激烈的手法，竟然還是獲得了一定的成功。這部片讓我看完之後，深深地思索著關於成功這件事。 順帶一提，當初台灣上映的時候，片名叫做「獨家腥聞」。我倒是很喜歡這個片名，覺得又雙關又很有意境。

Had avoided watching this for sometime, thankfully i finally gave it a watch and loved it. Jake is perfectly creepy as Louis. The final 20 minutes or so is fantastic viewing
