Nikki, Wild Dog of the North is an engrossing story of courage and survival in the Canadian wilderness. Andre Dupas, (Jean Coutu), a Hudson Bay trader, travels the Canadian waterways accompanied by his Malemute pup, Nikki. When an unexpected accident separates Dupas from his beloved dog, Nikki begins a spectacular odyssey that includes humorous escapades with Neewa, a mischievous bear cub, and a dramatic encounter with an evil trapper who plans to transform Nikki into a cold-blooded pit fighter.
