The Flores family has a splashy, summer beach party in this "Nina's World" original holiday special taking place on the 4th of July! Nina, her family and friends escape the city heat and hit the sand to celebrate the patriotic holiday and Papi’s very first Independence Day as an American citizen! Tio Javier’s band gives a big pop performance and Nina, Chelsea and Carlos compete in a massive sandcastle competition. But the kids are probably the most excited to ride the big ferris wheel on the pier…until Nina sees how big the wheel is and gets cold feet! Nina’s world is further turned upside-down when Carlos gets distracted and lost in the beach crowd. Nina and family must come together to find Carlos. And soon Nina discovers the courage to ride the big ferris wheel in order to help find her friend.
