M.G.Ramachandran (as Sundar) is a villager, who comes to town to earn money for the marriage of his sister, Sarada. Another MGR (as Ranjith), who is a replica of Sundar, is a notorious criminal in that town. Taking the similarity as an advantage, Ranjith uses Sundar as his proxy. Manjula and Nambiar, who are police officers, make plans to catch Ranjith. What happens next is the rest of the movie.
