Terri (Taraji P. Henson) is a devoted wife and mother of two, living an ideal suburban life in Atlanta when Colin (Idris Elba), a charming but dangerous escaped convict, shows up at her door claiming car trouble. Terri offers her phone to help him but soon learns that no good deed goes unpunished as she finds herself fighting for survival when he invades her home and terrorizes her family.

The stupidity of the main female charater was just rediculous. Its hard for me to believe that anyone would let a stranger in her home on a dark stormy night when she has her 2 babies there. Then so easily volunteer personal information and start having wine and conversation as if your just catching up with an old buddy. I know its just a movie but i can't imagine anyone in real life could be this careless and stupid. An okay movie to stay home and watch to pass the time, but that's about it.

Honestly which character was I supposed to root for? You've got the bimbo friend, deranged murderer, distant husband, and idiotic mom. Why would I feel sorry for her if she let this guy into her house when it's just her and her tiny kids while the husband is out? On top of that, she has a scene where she is checking herself out in the mirror to make sure she looks good. At least she gets a little embarrassed when she catches herself checking out the murderers six-pack.

Everyone in this movie is so high ranked for their acting careers. Watching this had me asking why they would waste time with such an obvious fail. If you have no clue about the actors and like the cheesy B movies, then you might like it. For me, I love the cheesy films and look forward to them, the more cheesy the better. But this had acting that was too rich for the movie itself. I really thought that its been a while since a new good suspense film came out. Unfortunately, the group of us that watched this are still left with that thought.
