Two troubled teenage brothers from a working-class family in Kentucky, Joey (Jack Dylan Grazer) and Matt (Fionn Whitehead), attempt to steal a tin full of cash from an empty house to help pay for their sick mother's (Mena Suvari) medical bills. As they escape, the brothers are caught by a security guard (Rainn Wilson) who chases them into the woods and accidentally falls to the bottom of a forgotten well, breaking his ankle. Joey and Matt must now face a dark choice: help the trapped guard and risk being punished for their crime, or leave him to possibly never be found.

Graderings en resensies

That hole must’ve had a few craps in it dumped there by Rainn Wilson’s character. I mean he was in it for about a week. The first thing the brothers would’ve noticed when he pushed them in the hole would’ve been the stench from all the craps he did when he was stuck down there.

A complex and character driven plot that never goes where you think it's going next keeps the film suspenseful and engaging.
