Oscar winning Dullness. Nomadland starts as a realistic, near documentary film looking at the life of a van dwelling widow called Fern and...Thats it really. Its a vague exploration of loss and grief, both through death and the hello goodbye relationships formed by life on the road but with only the mere stirrings of a love story, there's not much to keep your attention and the whole experience feels ultimately pointless.
