Información de esta película

It's Eddie Murphy "as you love to see him!" in this gut-bustingly funny movie that displays his comedic genius in multiple roles! Murphy star as mild-mannered Norbit, who gets a second chance at love with his childhood sweetheart, Kate (Thandie Newton, The Pursuit of Happyness). But there's one huge obstacle: jealous, mean-tempered Rasputia (Murphy), you wants Norbit all to her sizeable self. Can Norbit win the heart of Kate... before Rasputia put the hurt on him? With an all-star cast including Cuba Gooding Jr. (Jerry Maguire), Marlon Wayans (White Chicks) and Eddie Griffin (Date Movie), Norbit "will make you laugh 'til you cheer!"

I only watched it because a coworker insisted the pure stupidity would make me laugh. There were very few chuckles in this movie, I was mostly insulted and offended and just shook my head at the pure ignorance. I was expecting lowbrow humor but most of it was just low class. Eddie please don't make any more movies like this. You're better than this.

This movie is so funny. However, it's for people who can take a joke and like to laugh at themselves as well as others. It's meant to be a carefree movie. If you think too hard you won't get it. Just sit back and laugh and enjoy humor at its many angles.

“In the three lead roles—as the mild-mannered title character; Rasputia, the blustering, obese harridan he marries; and Mr. Wong, the owner of the Chinese restaurant-cum-orphanage where he was raised—Murphy cuts loose with a panoply of antic impressions unmatched since the heyday of Jerry Lewis.”
