Based on a true story, North Face is a suspenseful adventure film about a competition to climb the most dangerous rock face in the Alps. This was a great film, and I was riveted the whole way through. If you don't mind subtitles( or if you speak German) then this one is definitely worth the watch.

A gorgeous, and realistically shot film about mountaineering, the politics and celebrity of sport and the demands of honor. The ordeal of these two sets of climbers scaling the treacherous Nordwand is harrowing to behold.
