Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Peter Jackson returns to Middle-earth with the final of three films based on J.R.R. Tolkien's enduring masterpiece. All the Hobbit films needed to be edited down and condense into one movie. The Hobbit is a small book compared to the massive three books of TLOTR. Turning a singluar book like this this into a cash grab bloated triology was kind of annoying for a Hobbit book fan.
