O Kadhal Kanmani (English: Oh Love, Apple of my Eye), also known as OK Kanmani, is a 2015 Indian Tamil romantic film written, directed and produced by Mani Ratnam. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menon in the lead roles. The film is about Adhi (Dulquer) a happy-go-lucky lad, bumps into Tara (Nithya Menon), a bubbly girl loaded with energy and fall in love. The duo have plenty in common and the most striking one is that they both hate marriage. So after flirting with each other, they move in together for a live-in relationship. Their jolly go stint rocks on until that juncture comes when they have to answer the big question of whether to move forward or not. (CBFC UA DIL/2/27/2015-CHE)

Contemporary Indian love story, thoughtfully presented. Whether parents agree with adult children or not, many are going to experiment with live in relationships. We can only hope that the youthful couples decide that they love each other enough to marry. Kudos to the lead actors for portraying the two contrasts : Traditional marriage and commitment with its covenantal relationship despite sickness versus the more free wheeling non-committal live in relationship between a young man and a young woman. In the end, tradition wins, because they they truly love each other. Very thought -provoking movie!

Nice movie and Mani ratnam completely nails the concept of live in relationship..Adhi meets tara they fall in love and decides to have a live in relationship as marriage Is not for them...Dulquer salman a young lad is looking handsome and great with the role of a quirky young boy as always..but its Nitya menon who holds the whole film on her shoulder..fun..kiss..local train..what else?..go watch if you want to know what is marriage and what is its importance...

Youngsters already corrupted in this current living years after this movie still more and more there paths going to corrupt please don't encourage to make such movies.
