And if I remember correctly, this is based on a true story and a book, by a character that was in the story (not the actor tho ), this will bring your eyes to water and maybe just maybe, make you think about how life would be like if you could do something like this. I just love this movie I would watch this a million times if I want, but I don't want to 😂.. <3 ♡♡

This movie has a great flow, with the highs and lows of any great movie. Challenges based off a true story. But my favorite thing about the movie is that the protagonist, Homer was never in it for the money as you see in a lot of movies. He is into it for his newfound love of rockets, and science. To advance his own and the world's understanding of rockets, and space.

October Sky is an inspirational awesome film where science is always about math and physics in between designing pockets and creating technology. Brings the real true story of Homer H. Hickam Jr., who is a author, former United States Army Aviation and Missile Command engineer and former NASA engineer. Homer Hickam was one of the original founding members of the Rocket Boys also known as the Big Creek Missile Agency along with Quentin Wilson, Roy Lee Cooke, and Sherman O'Dell.
