Seeing is deceiving in this disturbingly original horror flick that reflects heart-stopping terror as you've never imagined! It's been ten years since the lives of siblings Tim (Brenton Thwaites; Maleficent) and Kaylie Russell (Karen Gillan; Doctor Who) were shattered and Tim was convicted of murdering their parents. Now released from a mental institution, Tim wants to move on, but his sister has other plans. Kaylie blames their childhood nightmare on the Lasser Glass - an antique mirror with a grisly history - which she intends to destroy by any means possible, even as the mysterious entity continues to cast sinister spells on anyone who gazes into it. 2013 Lasser Productions, LLC. The characters display more preparedness than usual horror flick fodder, which is refreshing. Blending of past and present, reality and hallucination is skillfully escalated to the point where even the viewer is left questioning what is real - this is the whole point of the movie. A good effort with a small cast in a limited environment that still manages to surprise.

Different to most 'haunted house' films, I found it a bit of fun, with a few good scares. Fairly ordinary acting, but was enjoyable enough. I could watch it again, probably on an all night horror marathon!

It was very different from what I've seen, and I loved watching Amy from Doctor Who star in a horror. It wasn't really scary, but the uniqueness makes it a brilliant watch
