Seeing is deceiving in this disturbingly original horror flick that reflects heart-stopping terror as you've never imagined! It's been ten years since the lives of siblings Tim (Brenton Thwaites; Maleficent) and Kaylie Russell (Karen Gillan; Doctor Who) were shattered and Tim was convicted of murdering their parents. Now released from a mental institution, Tim wants to move on, but his sister has other plans. Kaylie blames their childhood nightmare on the Lasser Glass - an antique mirror with a grisly history - which she intends to destroy by any means possible, even as the mysterious entity continues to cast sinister spells on anyone who gazes into it. 2013 Lasser Productions, LLC. Calificaciones y opiniones

The characters display more preparedness than usual horror flick fodder, which is refreshing. Blending of past and present, reality and hallucination is skillfully escalated to the point where even the viewer is left questioning what is real - this is the whole point of the movie. A good effort with a small cast in a limited environment that still manages to surprise.

Decieving but not confusing. They explain it well so you can enjoy the thriller of it all and understand it at the same time a concept some horror movie have yet to master. The filmtography is so well done an important role in a horror movie and mark has done it perfectly. The acting is great my favorite horror by far and one of favorite movies in general.

Different to most 'haunted house' films, I found it a bit of fun, with a few good scares. Fairly ordinary acting, but was enjoyable enough. I could watch it again, probably on an all night horror marathon!
