Patrick and his family tackled a very controversial subject and knocked it out the box! Police Officers are being targeted and murdered everyday just because they are wearing a uniform! I've always said before you give an opinion on a police officers actions please educate yourself. Most police depts. offer citizen police academies where you get an in depth look into a police officers day or night! They also show you a look into the capabilities of their depts.! Some depts. even have the shoot or don't shot simulator that you can go through! I highly recommend you place yourself in those Police Officers shoes and go through it! Patrick's documentary is a must see because it pulls the curtain open and into the life of the Police Officers who have had to make the call to shoot! People need to understand that when First Responders put on the uniform it isn't for the money, they actually make close to minimum wage They have to take extra shifts or another job just to make ends meet. They don't do it to be a hero, or to kill people! They do it because it's a calling of service and protecting! All we want to do is serve and protect our community and be there to make a POSITIVE differenc

This doc is a must see for anyone, especially if you are anti-police. Mr. and Mrs. Shaver were able to clearly tell the stories of officers and their families after they have had to make one of the most important decisions of their lives. Through watching this masterpiece individuals will be able to begin to understand why officers respond how they do and how their decisions are made in a fraction of a second, which alters their course of their lives moving forward. The stories told also have the backgrounds told, the parts that are not told in the 60 second news story about individuals, their cultures, and their environments that are all a part of the larger story being told. A+ documentary, A+ story telling, A+ musical scoring.

There's no way the androgynous loser Jody G actually saw the film. There are segments of the film that recount stories where officers actually died or were being fired upon. There is also one segnent covering a cop who's shoot was questionable and Shaver covers it fairly from the police perspective and the civil rights leader perspective. People like Jody G wear diapers and suck their thumbs. Don't be like Jody G. Check out Officer Involved.
