No film better portrays the powerful emotions of hope, courage, and friendship. When his younger brother adopts a frisky lop-eared stray, 15-year-old Travis (Tommy Kirk), acting "man-of-the-house," tries to shoo him away. But Old Yeller soon proves he is anything but "yellow" when he protects the family farm and saves Travis' life.

It's ok. But don't waste your money watching it here, when you can watch it on Hoopla for free along with any other Disney movie you like! Just download Hoopla and create an account and add your library card number and you can stream 10 movie a month for free which are payed for with our tax payer dollars. Which is lot better than going to the library to rent the dvd.

I love this movie n yes, I cry at the end. Old yeller is n was like my dog krugar. So these dogs r the best. Don't u agree? Thank you.:)

Oh my gosh this movie is THE BEST!!! I read the book in class but I think I like the book better because its way more detailed than the movie but still a great movie and I recommend Old Yeller
