Ugh... this movie felt less creative and more corporately manufactured. Cute animals (cat in this case) ☑️, a bunch of quotable one-liners ☑️ ,a rag-tag bunch of misfits with a heart of gold ☑️, a catchy song ☑️, the cool guy wears sunglasses ☑️. Maybe all of this could have made a fine movie in 1998, but there's other story stuff/edits/transitions/decisions that put me off of this film personally. The film isn't exactly bad, but it doesn't feel like it's good either.

Worth watching at least once if you're a big Disney fan like me, but otherwise you can skip it. This movie hasn't aged well, the songs are pretty forgettable other than the insanely catchy why should i worry, and the plot is predictable and adds nothing new to the Oliver Twist story other than a few differences. I'm sure kids will love it though.
