When the President is kidnapped by a terrorist who seizes control of the White House (Secret Service Code: "Olympus"), disgraced former Presidential guard Mike Banning finds himself trapped within the building. It's a 21st century Die Hard film. But Gerard Butler instead of Bruce Willis and the White House instead of a corporate skyscraper. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone. I won't get into details and ruin any surprises. If you're wondering whether to spend the money, rent it for sure. I liked it enough that after I rented it, I bought it. Morgan Freeman. 'Nuff said.

Great action movie! Was a little surprised at a few very anti American scenes, especially in this post 9/11 day we live in. (surprised that they actually 'got away' with it) but I totally loved the story and was on the edge of my seat the whole time! Loved it!

While the plot has its faults, the action never stops - a very enjoyable action flick.
