Über diesen Film

After one day together -- July 15th, 1988, their college graduation -- Emma Morley (Anne Hathaway) and Dexter Mayhew (Jim Sturgess) begin a friendship that lasts a lifetime. She's a working-class girl who dreams of making the world a better place. He's a wealthy charmer who thinks the world is his playground. Somewhere over the next two decades, these two very different people realize that the love they've been hoping for has been there for them all along. Directed by Lone Scherfig (An Education) and based on the bestselling novel by David Nicholls, it's a touching story critics call "a smart and endearing romantic comedy." I loved it! Reminds me of my life as im now after 9 yrs of knowing a guy from H.S. My ONE DAY came. Sad (movie) ending but realistic how we can kinda keep in contact with that one person we had a crush on. which turns out to be that the person we search to love us has been there all along. :-) this Movie is a reminder of not letting love go bc it may b gone forever or b short lived.

This is a nice romance. I felt it kind of dragged on for a bit in the middle, and I did find myself walking away from it a few times. So, nice but not great. Having never read the book this movie did turn out exactly as I thought it would. My point. Drawn out story, very predictable, ok acting, cute romance, no real substance.

I usually hate romantic movies but this one just had me the whole time! The reality of it is the best part, and Anne Hathaway because she is just awesome. Five Million Stars.
