Sy Parrish (Robin Williams) has lovingly, painstakingly developed photographs for the Yorkin family since their son was a baby. But as the Yorkins' lives become fuller, Sy's only seems lonelier, until he eventually convinces himself he's part of their family. But when Sy discovers the father's lack of faithfulness to his family, a bizarre confrontation ensues.

This movie is an in depth character study of a man on the edge..who is alone and obsesses for a seemingly perfect family by collecting their family photographs which he develops with loving care at the local walmart.

Robin creeped me out. Best since World According to Garp.
