Humourus, profound and extremely moving, One Week uses the great Canadian landscape as the backdrop to the story of a man and his life's journey. Very good Canadian movie based on a great book by Ben Tyler. Part of it was actually filmed in a towl calles Gravenhurst. Shouldn't be considered a comedy but eitherway it's well worth watching.

Captures how men grapple with their fears and struggles and the ever present temptation to run out and embrace our free spirit.

First, this movie is not a comedy. Secondly, the listed synopsis is completely wrong! This is a thoughtful and beautiful Canadian movie exploring the what if you only had a week to live? Absolutely loved the film! Found it by chance...looking for a cheap rental. A real diamond in the rough.
