Ong Bak 3 picks up where Ong Bak 2 concluded. Tien is captured and almost beaten to death before he is saved and brought back to the Kana Khone villagers. There, he learns meditation and how to deal with his Karma, but very soon his arch rival returns to challenge Tien for a final duel.

This would have been a better follow up to O B - 2 had it not been burdened down with so much mystic mumbo jumbo. I appreciate the effort to instill a certain spiritual tone to the film. But the result is more confusing than enlightening. Was the crow character representing the darkness in the soul of man or simply Ja's thirst for revenge? Overall I enjoyed OB 2 more, simple clear and direct... hurt my friends I break your face. However as always his fight sequences were very cool.

I think any bad reviews are from those who wish it was another jackie chan movie. This whole series is brilliant.

I haven't found 1 or 2 on DVD but 3 is refreshingly unique. Soundtrack is great....
