About this movie

When trainee nurse Anna agrees to accompany her partner to see her ailing father at their country home, she worries her background will make her an outcast among the wealthy Redferne family. Upon arrival, Anna begins to realize that she may have underplayed her problems and that they may have more to do with ritual sacrifice than they do with societal differences.

Another great film from Alex Secker and Marcus Starr. Quite the step up in quality from their first feature Follow The Crows. Although not usually my kind of movie it was enjoyable and haunting, with great performances from the main cast and clever writing to overcome budgetary constraints. Can't wait for the next one!

A great low budget British folk horror. Onus is a smart and thought-provoking film, well written with excellent acting, brilliant cinematography and great music. If you like Rosemary's Baby, The Shining and The Wicker Man then you'll love this.
