Comédienne Tina Fey geeft een nieuwe draai aan de moderne klassieker, MEAN GIRLS. Nieuwe student Cady Heron ontmoet de top van de sociale voedselketen: het elitegroepje van populaire meisjes genaamd 'The Plastics' dat wordt aangevoerd door de achterbakse Regina. Nadat Cady een geheime alliantie heeft gesloten met de buitenbeentjes van school om Regina ten val te brengen, moet ze leren dichtbij zichzelf te blijven, terwijl ze door de levensgevaarlijke jungle navigeert die de middelbare school is.

This movie quite literally sucks, the actors suck at doing their job, they have ZERO emotion, the orginal mean girls is WAYYYY better since it had a real idea of what actual mean girls were. AND DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE FASHION, the fashion looks like something that shein would style, the clothes look so thin and cheap its horrible. and the product placement was not subtle at all and looked so fake.

I just saw this in the theatre with my 16 year old daughter - forget the 1-star reviews ... this was a blast from beginning to end! To clarify - I saw the original when it was new, and am now seeing this new iteration with my daughter (who also saw the original). First, let me say, most of the 1-star reviews that I have read cite the musical numbers as a 'negative' ... ummmm, it's a musical! Humor was razor sharp and laugh-out-loud funny! True to the original story line, and totally 'fetch'!

i watched this movie with my friends when it came out, the songs are great and while yes sometimes acting is a tad bit dry the whole movie makes it seem real. I love Renee Rapp so much
