Very satisfying, rewatchable, clever interpolation into Hamlet of backstory and more than a few motifs from Romeo and Juliet (without any unsympathetic immaturity of those characters) and some original plotlines. Sometimes the bard's words (eg "Go to a nunnery") are there, in the same setting, but only some of the characters think the meaning the same, others see a different purpose behind the words. The language is layered, occasional wordplay akin to shakespeare, without being archaic.
