Oru Nadigaiyin Vaakkumoolam is a Tamil movie that narrates how an actress struggles to come up in film industry and the troubles that she would face. Sonia Agarwal does the female lead. She is from a histrionics lineage where her father is a drama artiste. But her family gets insulted due to competition. Her mother vows to make her a big star. Soniya and her mother (Urmila Unni) come to the city and Soniya becomes a film star after compromising on many things. The aftermath is the rest of the narration.
