Hoping to forge a better life, Denmark native Karen Blixen (Meryl Streep) enters into a marriage of convenience with a womanizing baron. But when the couple moves to Nairobi, Karen falls in love with a free-spirited hunter (Robert Redford) who can't be tied down. Director Sydney Pollack's lush period drama earned seven Academy Awards, including statues for Best Picture, Best Screenplay and Best Cinematography.

I adore this movie and have seen it many times, but here is the thing, every time i watch it i think, ralph lauren copied his clothing line from this movie, not that i care, but i cant shake that thought!

Un clásico. Una de las mejores bandas sonoras del cine. Paisajes hermosos que te hacen suspirar y desear visitar África y sus maravillas. Una historia de amor muy distinta a tantas que ya el cine nos ha mostrado. Altamente recomendada. Meryl Streep: excelente, como siempre.
