But when the couple moves to Nairobi, Karen falls in love with a free-spirited hunter (Robert Redford) who can't be tied down. Director Sydney Pollack's lush period drama earned seven Academy Awards, including statues for Best Picture, Best Screenplay and Best Cinematography.

Un clásico. Una de las mejores bandas sonoras del cine. Paisajes hermosos que te hacen suspirar y desear visitar África y sus maravillas. Una historia de amor muy distinta a tantas que ya el cine nos ha mostrado. Altamente recomendada. Meryl Streep: excelente, como siempre.

I adore this movie and have seen it many times, but here is the thing, every time i watch it i think, ralph lauren copied his clothing line from this movie, not that i care, but i cant shake that thought!

No soy cineasta. Pero desde mi visión de espectador me parece una ¡Excelente! historia. Conmueve el corazón y los diálogos son fenomenales.
