There is a moody cadence to this move that is incredibly appealing. I find the locations, characters and dialogue all singular in the world Soderbergh creates. The chemistry between George Clooney and Jennifer Lopez shines (it also comes across easy-breezy). It's the kind of experience that makes you wish Lopez, in particular, would have taken her career down a different path. 22 years later, this remains a thoroughly entertaining achievement.
